Zomg game music!

Alright: In the last journal, I mentioned I would begin working on a 2D game during my summer break. In this, notice how I now put an emphasis on begin. This is a process that will take its time, but, don't worry, this journal is not some crappy journal to tell everyone that I haven't done anything.
So, I got my summer break, and I thought it was best to start with doing the stuff that inspired me the most, and that was creating some musical tracks (with a retro-gaming touch), which may or may not be in the final game. I'm still learning, so they're by no means perfect or even done, but I'm still quite proud of them. These are two tracks I've made recently:
* "Okay"
* "Clock"
Lol the naming sucks. They'll get better names later. Feel free to tell me what you think about the tracks. Shove it in my fayse. And, that's how it goes right now. Of course I'll give you more details once I start working on other parts of the game. Just don't expect me to be blazingly fast. ![]()
Other stuff: How are all of y'all? ![]()
Game development is on my plate.

I'm going to spend this summer beginning to develop a 2D PC game. I'm as serious as I can be on this, and it's going to be really fun!
As soon as the exams are over with, I'm going to work with C++, DirectDraw, DirectSound, 8-bit music, pixel graphics, plot writing, all sorts of different stuff. I'm excited, so can school be over already? D:
I wish everyone an awesome summer! :B

Oh my. I'm an NR newbie. A n00b.
And I don't game much.
But still: The "so we noticed" box on my page should go away. Other than that, this site seems pretty awesome. ![]()
